Author Guidelines

Article Types

EMERJ accepts original research articles, review articles, short communications, technical notes, and invited perspectives or commentaries.

Peer Review Process

  1. All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening for scope fit, originality, completeness, and baseline quality.
  2. Submissions passing editorial screening are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise under a double-blind review model.
  3. Editorial decisions normally fall under accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts should follow the standard EMERJ article template and formatting guidelines (available on request from the editorial office).
  • Authors must provide complete metadata: title, abstract, keywords, author affiliations, and references.
  • A data availability statement is encouraged or required where applicable.
  • Any AI-assisted content must be clearly disclosed.
  • Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must include appropriate ethics disclosure.

How to Submit

Manuscript submission is handled through the journal’s editorial management system. During the launch phase, authors may contact the editorial office directly to initiate submission.
