EMERJ maintains policies on plagiarism, duplicate submission, authorship, conflicts of interest, corrections, and retractions, in line with internationally recognized publication ethics standards.

  • Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data requires appropriate ethics disclosure.
  • The journal encourages or requires data availability statements and clear disclosure of AI-assisted content where relevant.
  • Editorial independence is protected; editors or reviewers with conflicts of interest must recuse themselves.
  • All manuscripts are screened for originality prior to peer review.

Open Access Policy

EMERJ is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available to readers worldwide immediately upon publication, with no subscription, paywall, or embargo period.
